Community Memorial Hospital of San Buenaventura - Skilled Nursing

As part of the patient tower decommissioning + repurposing effort at the Hospital, SWA Architects assessed, studied, and re-configured the tower’s 5th and 6th floors to create a newly renovated Skilled Nursing Unit with 62 new patient beds in 22 fully accessible patient rooms. Scope of work included upgrades to the building’s HVAC system and creation of new instructional, office, and support spaces -- with minimal construction impact to the existing infrastructure and project budget.
