Florence Hospital, Community/Rural Hospital with Correctional Medicine Wing

As a response to the growing communities surrounding the metro Phoenix area, Visionary Health planned Rural Hospitals to meet the demand.  The design is planned to meet immediate needs, with the Acute Care Hospital and parking in the first phase, surrounded by Medical Office Buildings in subsequent phases. The acute care hospital programs offers a range of services such as, Med Surg, Emergency Department, Imaging/Radiology, Operating Rooms, Lab, Pharmacy and a Correctional Medicine Services Unit. The Correctional Services Unit, separated from the main hospital, has a 16 bed Correctional Med/Surg Patient Unit with ER Treatment Rooms. The hospital also has general Support Service Areas, Cafeteria, Administration, and a Helipad.

The design respects local architectural and landscape, incorporating elements such as cultured stone and an earth tone color palette.
